From trials in the lead up, to event day MJ was professional, attentive and adaptable to mine and the bridal parties needs (e.g preference for some to go natural with less coverage).
We flew MJ out to Spain and it was seamless. She is punctual and her collaboration and project management (timings on the day to studying each member of the groups photos for matching) was notable. In the trial we overrun actually and MJ continued to ensure we got to where we needed to. She is so patient and has exceptional attention to detail.
MJ’s warm and calming energy is infectious, exactly what we needed on the day to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning all together! MJ is also extremely thoughtful and generous as she gave us all a small pouch with bits to touch up throughout the evening which was so well received. These small touches go a long way.
I have to say I really was taken back by MJ’s first class product collection. Various brands were combined for the perfect look,which lasted really well. This was important to me as it was a destination wedding and MJ went above and beyond.
I am quite fussy about my eyelashes in particular and MJ was so open with me doing those myself and she enhanced them with some natural lashes to finish the look, which I adored. MJ ensured everything was perfect even buying the mascara I use to have on hand on the day which was so thoughtful.
MJ really has been a joy to work with, thanks for making me and the wider group feel beautiful on the happiest day of my life!

I got married in April this year in sunny Italy (Puglia) and, not having had had much luck with others doing my makeup and liking how I look afterwards, Mary Jane kindly offered me a makeup trial. I was so impressed with her work. Mary Jane made me look like a bride and that was before the wedding. On the actual wedding day again, utter perfection. Everyone said how good I looked. I would absolutely recommend Mary Jane, not just for weddings but for any occasion. Hand on heart, you will not be disappointed. Just look at the photos and how amazing my makeup was. Everyone that had their make up done commented on how happy they were and how well it stayed put throughout the day. You were fantastic and made everyone feel at ease from the beginning. The day was brilliant (except the rain which meant photos were pretty much all indoors!) and I am so so SO happy I chose you as my make up artist for the day. Throughout the entire process of booking, trial, organising for the day and keeping us looking amazing throughout my wedding day MJ was incredibly professional and an absolute pleasure to work with.
I had never really had make up done for me before, but MJ talked me through the entire process and gave guidance to ensure the style I went for was perfect for me. She took time to listen to ensure I had exactly what I wanted.
On my wedding day, MJ managed doing make up for me and my bridesmaids plus mothers of both myself and my husband seamlessness. She kept perfectly to schedule and adapted to ensure everyone got the look they wanted which was particularly challenging given it was 39 degrees!
We had such a fun time getting ready together and MJ was a big part of that!
I have had so many compliments about my make up and I can’t give MJ enough credit. I would 10000% recommend her for any wedding or event to make you feel so incredibly beautiful!

Mary-Jane did my make up for my wedding day, and I was so happy with it! From the very first contact to doing my make up on the morning of the wedding, she was amazing, so professional and calming. She recommended what make up would suit and made adjustments after listening to me. On the wedding day itself she was so well prepared and even arrived early and was then very efficient doing my make up which meant we had more time for photos.
